JEDDAH: The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Hissein Brahim Taha has received at the Organization’s headquarters, a delegation led by Sheikh. Dr. Mahamat Khattir Issa, President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and President of the Regulatory Body in charge of the Pilgrimage Management (Hajj and Umrah) of Chad, a press statement said.
It added that the courtesy visit provided an opportunity for the two sides to discuss issues of common interest.

The OIC chief expressed his gratitude for the trip and stressed the significance of strengthening ties between the two sides. He also reaffirmed OIC’s commitment to promoting development and peace for the benefit of the Islamic Ummah.
The President of the Islamic Affairs Council has expressed his satisfaction at the fruitful talks he had with the Secretary-General of the OIC. He emphasized the significance of cooperation between the two sides in tackling common challenges.
