JEDDAH: Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hissein Brahim Taha on Monday held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojidin Muhriddin at the OIC General Secretariat in Jeddah.
During the meeting, both leaders exchanged views on a number of priority matters on the OIC Agenda.
Sirojidin Muhriddin appreciated the OIC’s active support for the Palestinian cause and its efforts towards ending the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Tajikistan reiterates strong support for Palestinians
He reiterated Tajikistan’s strong support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinians.
The Secretary-General lauded Tajikistan’s active role in the work of the OIC and in advancing Joint Islamic Action including the question of Palestine.
