JEDDAH: The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the twin terrorist attacks that targeted the gendarmerie school in Bamako and military airport area on Tuesday, which resulted in deaths and injuries.
In a statement, the OIC Secretary-General, Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, has described this terrorist attack as a terrible terrorist act, reaffirming the OIC’s solidarity with Mali and the Sahel nations in their efforts to combat terrorism.
The statement said that the Secretary-General has also offered his sincere and deep condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government and people of Mali. He wished the injured a speedy recovery, the statement further said.
