JAMMU, Occupied Kashmir: The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) staged a protest in Jammu, denouncing what they claim to be corrupt practices within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
The symbolic act of torching a “BJP’s Washing Machine” was part of their demonstration against the party’s alleged association with corruption and support for terrorism.
Led by party president Harsh Dev Singh, JKNPP activists gathered with fervor, chanting slogans condemning the BJP’s purported links to corruption and collaboration with agencies like the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Addressing the crowd, Harsh Dev Singh criticized the BJP, emphasizing the party’s alleged harboring of corrupt politicians for political gain. He raised concerns about the BJP’s welcoming of individuals involved in corruption and the inclusion of proclaimed offenders in its ranks.
The metaphor of the “washing machine” was highlighted by Singh to symbolize the BJP’s politics, suggesting a process that, according to the JKNPP, attempts to cleanse or conceal corruption.
The protest aimed to draw attention to the party’s grievances against the BJP’s alleged unethical practices and collusion with authorities like the ED and CBI. The JKNPP’s demonstration underscores their stance on issues related to corruption and terrorism, accusing the BJP of compromising its principles.
