DHAKA: Thursday’s second day’s play in the second Test between Bangladesh and New Zealand at Dhaka’s Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium was postponed due to rain.
The first day saw fifteen wickets tumble, leaving the tourists trailing by 117 runs, ending at 55-5 by stumps. Bangladesh chose to bat first, managing a total of 172 runs in their initial innings before being all out.
After securing a 150-run victory in the inaugural Test in Sylhet, the hosts are ahead in the two-match series, leading 1-0.
