ISLAMABAD: Maintaining its tradition of carrying out relief efforts for people in distress, The National University of Science and Technology (NUST) is actively collecting donations for emergency relief efforts in Gaza.
According to a university spokesperson, the university’s Student Affairs Directorate collects donations for Gaza’s humanitarian assistance operations.
The division has urged the citizens to donate most needed items, including powdered milk, cereals, biscuits, chocolates, cooked rice, infant formulas, coffee mixture, cooked chicken or meat, cooked vegetables, fruits, and water purification tablets, toothbrushes, hand sanitizers, moisturizers, a box of bandages, toothpaste, soap bars, shampoos, sanitary napkins, pampers for children (different sizes), washing soap or powder, medicines related to surgery, orthopedic, infection, trauma, wounds, and other general medication.
The university has called on the Pakistani nation to join its efforts to support this noble cause by giving donations and helping those in need. It said that the people’s generous contributions can make a significant difference. —APP
