SEOUL: North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un has said his first trip to Russia was a clear show of the “strategic importance” of the two nations’ ties, official media KCNA reported on Wednesday.
According to KNCA, the leader of North Korea said that his trip to Russia is a clear manifestation of the stand of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the government of North Korea prioritizing the strategic significance of Russia-North Korea ties.
Kim Jong Un arrives in Russia
Kim Jong Un’s trip to Russia marks his first foreign tour after the global health crisis, KCNA reported, referring to the COVID-19 outbreak. Kim reached the border city of Khasan in Russia Tuesday, official media confirmed, and was greeted by top officials from Moscow at the train station.
