LAHORE, Pakistan: Pakistan’s Noman Ali has made history by surpassing a 37-year-old record set by the legendary Abdul Qadir.
Noman has now become the top Pakistani bowler to claim the most wickets in five consecutive Test matches, an achievement that has solidified his place among the nation’s cricketing greats.
In the ongoing series against South Africa, Noman Ali continued his golden run, claiming 10 wickets in the first Test, including key scalps on day four.
His match-winning spell helped Pakistan bowl out South Africa for just 183 runs, defending a target of 277.

His remarkable form has also extended to previous series this year, where he claimed 16 wickets against the West Indies and an impressive 20 wickets in Pakistan’s home series against England.
As Pakistan takes a 1-0 lead, the second Test in Rawalpindi, starting October 20, will be the stage for Noman to further cement his place as one of the world’s top spinners.
