KARACHI: United Arab Emirates (UAE) Consul General Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi has said that there are no visa restrictions for Pakistani citizens traveling to the UAE.
Dr. Remeithi’s comments come in response to recent reports of difficulties faced by residents of Sindh province in obtaining UAE visas.
In a video statement, the consul general assured that the UAE is providing all necessary facilities for Pakistani businessmen, workers, and those seeking medical treatment in cities such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.
The consul general emphasized the longstanding cultural, religious, and trade ties between the UAE and Pakistan, which have been in place for over 50 years. He reiterated that the UAE extends full support to Pakistani nationals in obtaining visas.
Dr. Remeithi also highlighted the launch of a special awareness program at the Karachi Consulate to assist individuals traveling to the UAE. He advised travelers to avoid carrying prohibited items and to pack their luggage themselves to prevent any issues.
Moreover, the consul general announced that the UAE will soon introduce a new program aimed at the business community. This initiative will provide enhanced support for those looking to travel to the UAE for business purposes or those interested in fostering business relationships between UAE companies and Pakistan.
