ISLAMABAD: Here’s a tasty mutton curry recipe made without oil, which pairs wonderfully with naan, rice, or laccha paratha.
Ingredients:
400 grams mutton
2 onions, chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
Salt, to taste
Water, as needed
Fresh coriander leaves, for garnish
Instructions:
Combine the mutton with all the spices and ginger-garlic paste, ensuring it’s well mixed. Let it marinate for thirty minutes.
Add the marinated mutton to a non-stick pan and cook for a few minutes until it starts to brown.
Stir in the chopped onions and tomatoes. Cook until the onions are brown.
If the mixture begins to stick to the pan, add a little water and stir well. Cover and simmer on low-medium heat until the mutton is tender.
Stir in the garam masala and garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice, roti, or naan.
