NIH Reports 33 New Covid-19 Cases in Last 24 hours across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Health officials on Thursday said that during the last 24 hours, a total of 33 new Covid-19 were reported across the country.

National Institute of Health (NIH)’s data revealed that the positivity ratio of cases is 0.84 percent while as many as 19 patients are currently in critical condition. No deaths were reported.

Across the country, the total number of tests for Coronavirus cases was 3,942. Of these 225 tests were conducted 81 in Quetta, in Karachi, 81, 433 in Peshawar, 84 in Multan, and 811 in Lahore.

Separately, Abdul Qadir Patel, the Minister for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, said that the government has improved the role of Border and Health Services in Pakistan to deal with all sub-variants of Covid-19.
