ABUJA: Nigerian main opposition has said that it will show fresh evidence to support its court challenge seeking to downturn this year’s presidential polls, adding it can prove the declared winner candidate presented faked academic credentials to officials, Western media reported on Thursday.
Nigerian President Faces New Challenges
Atiku Abubakar and his lawyer claimed that President Bola Tinubu had president a fake diploma to the country election commission before the February elections, and the President should be ousted from office. The opposition leader and his lawyer quoted records taken from the university in an American court hearing and shared with AP.

Atiku Abubakar earlier has asked Tinubu should not be president as the country’s election commission did not follow due process in proclaiming the winner and he was not qualified to run elections, quoting charges of dual nationality and of an indictment in the US.
However, the President of Nigeria has dismissed those claims. Bola Tinubu did not react on the new allegations, but his spokesperson dismissed it.
