ISLAMABAD: In a one-sided match, Nigeria dominated Thailand with a 14-0 victory at the 11th UAE Ambassadors Cup 2023 held at the UAE embassy premises in Islamabad, the federal capital of Pakistan.
The win sets Nigeria up for a promising run in the tournament.
The first half of the match saw Nigeria take a commanding lead, scoring five goals with Jawad and Abdur Rehman each scoring one goal and Ameaka scoring three goals.
However, the second half proved to be even more productive for Nigeria, as they scored an additional nine goals with Ameaka scoring three more goals, Jawad scoring two more, Abdur Rehman scoring two more, and Aqil scoring one.

Nigeria’s Ameaka was the top scorer of the match, netting a total of six goals, while Jawad and Abdur Rehman each scored three goals. Aqil contributed one goal to the tally.
Nigeria will look to continue their winning streak as they face their next opponents in the tournament, while Thailand will aim to bounce back from this defeat.
