ISLAMABAD: A newlywed couple from Islamabad has taken social media by storm with their unconventional wedding photoshoot set against the backdrop of lockdown containers. Their creative and joyful approach to a difficult situation has won hearts online.

Khola, a gorgeous bride in a silver-gray dress, and Qasim appeared dashing in a moon-gray suit, were photographed by The Talent Studios while posing against bright orange, red, and blue shipping containers that were spray-painted with the numbers. The images, which were posted on Instagram, are notable not just for their eye-catching imagery but also for the tenacity and joy in the face of hardship that they represent.

The shoot’s soundtrack, Junoon’s iconic song “Hai Jazba Junoon, Tu Himmat Na Haar” (You have passion, don’t lose courage), added a powerful touch. Adding to this, a shot shows Khola standing perfectly between the painted numbers “8” and “4,” a detail that quickly became a favourite among netizens.

Adding humour to the situation, the captions read, “POV: It’s your lifetime event, and the lockdown said hi,” and “When your big day arrives, but the city is all locked up.”

With wedding venues and parks inaccessible due to barricades, the couple embraced the unusual setting rather than postpone their photoshoot. Their decision turned the restrictions into a creative opportunity, sparking admiration online.

Social media users praised the couple’s positivity and creativity, with some calling it “the best photoshoot of a lifetime” and others lauding their liveliness. While a few joked about the potential for tear gas in the background, others highlighted the political symbolism of the container graffiti.

Khola and Qasim’s photoshoot is a shining example of making the best of a tough situation, and their story has brought smiles to people across the nation.
