New Zealand Whitewash Bangladesh Ahead of ICC World Cup

DHAKA: New Zealand gave themselves a good boost ahead of the ICC World Cup by whitewashing Bangladesh in the three-match series 2-0, with 7 wickets victory in the final ODI in Dhaka on Tuesday.

Young made 70 off 80 balls to guide New Zealand to 175-3. Milne’s 4-34 restricted Bangladesh to 171 runs in 34.3 overs at Dhaka.

Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto made the highest 76 runs for his side but was unable to give his side a competitive score because of a lack of support from the other wicket following he decided to bat first.
