QUEENSTOWN: New Zealand women beat Pakistan women by six runs through Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DSL) method in the 3rd and last T20 cricket match of the three-match series in Queenstown on Saturday.
Pakistan Women batted first and scored 137 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. New Zealand Women had made 101 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 15 overs when the game had to be stopped due to rain.
Pakistan won the first match by 7 wickets, and the second match by 10 runs, making them the first Asian team to win a T20 International series in New Zealand.
In the third T20 International, New Zealand Women won the toss and chose to bat. Pakistan Women made four changes to the team, with Sidra Ameen, Shoaib Zulfiqar, Bismah Maroof, and Diana Baig making way for Sadia Iqbal, Shafali Verma, Veda Krishnamurthy, and Radha Yadav.
