ISLAMABAD: The South China Commodity Exhibition and Trading Center (SCCETC) in Gwadar Free Zone, Gwadar, Balochistan, was successfully completed on 21 July.
The project covers an area of nearly 2,000 square meters. The center consists of an exhibition hall, meeting rooms, a sports area, a business area, an office, a dormitory, etc.
It will exhibit Pakistani and Chinese products to visitors from home and abroad.
According to project constructor CCCC-FHDI Engineering CO, LTD, the center will work as a comprehensive exhibition and sales platform as well as a window for international exchanges in Gwadar.
Center Presents Various Opportunities
It will boost the development of trade and logistics, manufacturing, and other industries, further promote trade and investment facilitation and liberalization, and the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor in Gwadar.
It is to be mentioned here that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), a mega-project of China.
