New Cancer Center to Be Built in Atyrau in 2025

ASTANA: The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced on Saturday to build a new cancer center in Atyrau next year.  He made the announcement while addressing the III session of the National Kurultay in Atyrau.

Local media reported that he had issued instructions to build the cancer center in Atyrau. He noted that the project was delayed due to fiscal constraints. The center will be built by the coming year, and subsoil users’ funds were attracted for this project, he said. Furthermore, a new radiotherapy unit will be commissioned by the end of the year.

The President expressed gratitude to the residents and companies that supported the implementation of these projects. Additionally, he announced plans for the commissioning of several outpatient clinics, a rehabilitation center, and various other social facilities in the region within the current year.
