New 23,091 Covid-19 Cases Emerge in Korea; 406 in India

SEOUL: South Korea has reported 23,091 new COVID-19 cases on midnight of Sunday as compared to Saturday, indicating a rise in the total number of the virus to the toll of 26,581,856.

According to the report issued by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA), in South Korea, the daily Covid 19 cases recorded show a decline from 46,011 on Saturday and also down from the toll of 23,751 recorded a week earlier in the country.

KDCA said the average number of new cases daily was at toll 51,995.

With the emergence of new virus cases, 61 Covid 19 cases were linked from abroad, totaling 70,871.

The number of critical condition patients infected through this Covid 19 was 465, adding 14 from Saturday.

In South Korea

Thirty-five more deaths were confirmed on Sunday, leaving the death toll at 30,066.

Covid 19 Cases in India

India has recorded 406 new Covid 19 cases, which shows the rising of Covid 19 virus in India.

The new 406 COVID-19 cases recorded on Monday are less than the 492 Covid 19 cases recorded on Sunday in India.

The federal health ministry of India released data on Monday morning, which indicates 406 new cases of COVID-19.

According to data released by the Indian government, the active caseload of Covid 19 currently stands at 6,402 in the South Asian country.

Due to this new rise of Covid 19 in India, the ministry said that the country logged 12 more COVID-19-deaths, making the death toll 530,586 since the beginning of the pandemic in India.

According to the health ministry of India, 44,132,433 COVID-19 patients have been cured and discharged from hospitals in India.
