LAHORE: The government of Punjab will launch “Never Again” app to provide more safety to women in the province. As per media reports, the Punjab government is making preparation in this connection. Under the theme “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress,” International Women’s Day is being celebrated across the world today. This commemoration aims to raise awareness against gender bias and advocate for equality, while also ensuring equal opportunities for women in education, healthcare, and employment.
To mark this occasion, various organizations have planned events to advocate for women’s rights and development. Uzma Bukhari, Punjab’s Information Minister, announced the upcoming launch of the “Never Again” app.
Maryam Nawaz, the first female Chief Minister in the country’s history, is deeply committed to safeguarding the rights of women, she said. Bukhari further said that the “Never Again” app would serve as a crucial tool in monitoring and addressing women’s rights and security concerns in the province.
