RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: The Netherlands has taken centre stage at the 2023 Saudi Agriculture exhibition, unveiling the single largest national pavilion at the event.
With the exhibition running from October 23 to 26 in Riyadh, it boasts participation from 30 companies representing various agricultural sectors, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency.
Dutch exhibitors are showcasing their expertise across a broad spectrum of agricultural domains. This includes greenhouse agriculture, smart farming, agricultural robotics, solutions for poultry and livestock farming, agricultural product processing and packaging, aquaculture, irrigation systems, pesticides, fertilizers, dairy farms, as well as agricultural incubators and nurseries.

The presence of the Netherlands’ extensive pavilion underscores the strong agricultural bonds between the Netherlands and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This initiative provides a platform for the exchange of technological know-how and fosters opportunities for investment and employment in both nations.
Furthermore, the event aligns with the Kingdom’s objectives of bolstering its agricultural output, elevating export rates, and improving the trade balance with the Netherlands.
