CALIFORNIA: Online streaming service Netflix Inc was down for over 11,000 users in the United States on late Sunday, according to Downdetector.com, an outage tracking website.
Downdetector tracks outages by collating status report from numerous sources, including users.
The much-anticipated “Love Is Blind: The Live Reunion” webcast was delayed due to the outage. The Vanessa and Nick Lachey-hosted programme was scheduled to start streaming from Los Angeles at 5 p.m. Pacific (5:30 am IST). Ten minutes prior to the commencement of the programme, Netflix users were able to join a waiting area for the show 10 minutes before the start time — and those who did were still there an hour later.
