ISLAMABAD/CALIFORNIA: Despite intense Israeli pressure and resistance, the streaming service Netflix has released the film ‘Farha’ based on the Palestinian genocide and eviction.
The Nakba, also known as the Palestinian Catastrophe, was the destruction of Palestinian society in 1948 and the permanent displacement of most Palestinians. The Netflix film is based on the Nakba incident when radical Jews expelled or killed 7.5 million Palestinians from their homes and seized 78 percent of Palestinian land. The movie was nominated for an Oscar. The story of this movie is about a 14-year-old Palestinian whose village is attacked by Israeli forces. These forces are also involved in mass executions of innocent Palestinian civilians.

The movie became available on Netflix after being featured at the Toronto International Film Festival. It caused anger among the Israelis, and they decided to boycott the streaming giant by canceling their subscriptions. Israelis showed their anger by going as far as to rate the movie down on websites to make it seem like it was not worth watching
