NEOM, Saudi Arabia: NEOM, the visionary sustainable development project unfolding in the northwest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), has announced the exciting return of the NEOM Beach Games running from November 3 to 23, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The SPA reported that more than 1,000 top-tier athletes, coaches, and team officials from across the world prepare to compete in the 3rd annual NEOM Beach Games, which hosts 6 dynamic sports events.
The upcoming events include the Supertri NEOM triathlon on November 3; the FIBA 3×3 World Tour NEOM 2024 in basketball, held by the International Basketball Federation and running from November 7 to 9; and the NEOM IFSC Masters showcasing elite climbers from November 11 to 13, the SPA added.
Adding to the eagerness, fans can look forward to the NEOM Beach Soccer Cup from November 13 to 16, and the NEOM TITAN Desert challenging mountain bikers from November 18 to 22, according to the SPA.
Making an impressive debut this year is the World Aquatics Open Water Swimming World Cup NEOM, uniting top swimmers across the world as they plunge into the waters of the Red Sea on November 22 and 23, bringing the championship to a thrilling close.
Renowned triathletes Alex Yee and Cassandre Beaugrand, basketball prodigy Worthy De Jong, and speed climber Veddriq Leonardo—all Olympic gold medalists—grace the games along other top-notch players participating in this year’s events.
