ISLAMABAD: A total of 59,328 Hajj applications have been received by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony under the government scheme this year.
The deadline for submitting applications has been extended to December 22, as announced by the ministry. The invitation for Hajj 2024 applications under the government scheme was started on November 27, with the original deadline set for December 12.
As part of the government’s scheme, the allocated quota for Pakistani participants in the annual Islamic pilgrimage next year is 89,605, and the expected cost is Rs1,075,000 [$3,769] per person. —APP
