China, our valued neighbor, launched the second phase of this transformative endeavor aimed at strengthening Pakistan’s economic landscape. Concurrently, a noteworthy event unfolded with the release of columnist Naz Parveen’s travelogue.
This travelogue, the first from a columnist in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa focused on China, has been featured by China Window, a cultural center in Peshawar dedicated to promoting Sino-Pak friendship.
The unveiling ceremony at the Governor’s House was graced by Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Governor KP Faisal Karim Kundi, and President of Peshawar Press Club Arshad Aziz Malik, underscoring the significance of Parveen’s work.
Titled “Xinjiang kay Khushaal Uyghur” (“The Happy Uyghur of Xinjiang”), the travelogue provides a heartfelt narrative of Parveen’s journey through China’s Xinjiang province. Through vivid descriptions and personal encounters, she portrays the real stories of Muslims thriving amidst their cultural heritage in Xinjiang.
