Nawaz Sharif Will be Next Prime Minister of Pakistan: PM Shehbaz

KASUR: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif claimed on Sunday that Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif will be the next prime minister of Pakistan.

Addressing a public meeting at Khadian, Kasur district, PM Shehbaz said that Nawaz Sharif was the person who took Pakistan from the darkness of the load shedding.

The prime minister said that the atomic journey of Pakistan started in Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto era and finished in Nawaz Sharif era.

During his visit to Khadian, the prime minister inaugurated three development projects worth 263 billion rupees, including the Ray Mansab Ali Khan interchange on the Lahore-Abdul Hakim motorway, Lahore-Sahiwal- Bhawalnagar motorway, and the Taregarh interchange.

PM Shehbaz Sharif was also briefed about the development projects and foundation stone of the Nankana-Bachiki Interchange.

Prime Minister Launches Hepatitis Awareness Campaign

On the occasion, he also launched a campaign to spread awareness among the people about the disease of Hepatitis.

Speaking about the Pakistan Institute of Kidney and Liver, which was made operational by the previous PML-N government in 2018, he said that this institute was a gigantic project to serve the people of the country.

He said that 80% of patients in PKLI are provided with free or partially free treatment, and doctors and staff in the institute are providing the best services. The institute treated patients without any discrimination.

He said that Rs15 billion had been collected by the PKLI Trust fund, and the government had requested the philanthropists to donate more funds in order to facilitate deserving patients.

The OM lauded the efforts for creating awareness about the causes of Hepatitis and suggestions to address this serious issue.
