ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have reached an agreement on constitutional amendments during a meeting in Islamabad.
Bilawal arrived at Punjab House on Thursday, where he was warmly welcomed by Nawaz Sharif. The two leaders engaged in discussions about the current political landscape of the country.
Their meeting focused on constitutional amendments related to judicial reforms. They agreed that the decision to present these amendments in parliament would be made following further consultations, with a timeline set after discussions with other political parties.
The meeting included key figures from both parties, with Marriyum Aurangzeb, Rana Sanaullah, Pervaiz Rashid, Irfan Siddiqui, and Ahsan Iqbal representing the PML-N. The PPP delegation comprised Yousuf Raza Gilani, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Khursheed Shah, Murtaza Wahab, Naveed Qamar, and Palwasha Khan.
