ISLAMABAD: In a momentous development for Pakistan’s telecom and broadband industries, Naveed Khalid Butt, the Group Chief Regulatory Officer of PTCL & Ufone 4G, has been appointed as the President of the newly-formed Telecom Operators Association (TOA).
This association, comprising all major telecom operators in the country, is dedicated to fostering the digitization of the national economy by advocating strategic policy and regulatory interventions.
During the inaugural meeting of the association, prominent leaders from Pakistan’s telecom industry, including Naveed Khalid Butt, were entrusted with key positions. Butt, with his extensive background in management and regulatory affairs within Pakistan’s technology and telecommunications sectors, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. His expertise is expected to play a pivotal role in achieving the objectives of the association, enabling close cooperation with the government, regulatory bodies, and other essential stakeholders.
