BRUSSELS, Belgium: NATO issued a strong condemnation of Russia’s continued attacks on Ukrainian civilians and infrastructure following reports from Poland that a drone likely entered its airspace during a Russian strike on Ukraine early Monday.

NATO spokesperson Farah Dakhlallah emphasized the alliance’s concern, noting that since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, fragments of Russian drones and missiles have been found on NATO territory multiple times.

While NATO has no evidence suggesting that these incidents were deliberate attacks on member states, Dakhlallah stressed that such actions are “irresponsible and potentially dangerous,” underscoring the growing risks posed by the ongoing conflict.
