ISLAMABAD: Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari has lauded the timely, prompt, and visionary decisions of the National Security Committee (NSC), stating that all the decisions made by the committee echo the sentiments of the nation.
He further said that the NSC has truly represented the aspirations of the Pakistani people and the entire Pakistani country stands united behind its decisions and actions.
No justification
President Zardari also remarked that India’s baseless accusations and illogical steps have no justification.
The president was talking to Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi who called on the president in the Pakistani port city of Karachi on Friday.
The Pakistani interior minister gave a detailed briefing regarding India’s irresponsible actions following the Pahalgam incident.
Impregnable defence
He apprised President Zardari about the decisions taken by the NSC and the countermeasures initiated in response.
Interior Minister Naqvi emphasised, “The enemy must not be under any illusion — Pakistan’s defence is, Alhamdulillah, impregnable.”
