ISLAMABAD: The finale of the “Jeetay Ga Pakistan” National Music Competition 2023, organized by Radio Pakistan, took place at the National Broadcasting House in Islamabad.
Fariyal Amber, hailing from Faisalabad, secured the coveted first position, while Hafsah Nadeem from Multan attained the second position, followed by Ahmed Niazi from Rawalpindi in the third position, said a press release on Tuesday.
At the conclusion of the competition, the Director General of Radio Pakistan, Tahir Hassan, awarded prizes and certificates to the winners.
The winner of the competition received a substantial reward of Rs 100,000, while the second and third-place winners were granted Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000, respectively. Other participants were awarded Rs 25,000 each.

The competition aimed to provide a prominent platform for young talents to showcase their abilities.
During the event, Director General Tahir Hassan discussed the ongoing efforts to enhance Radio Pakistan with state-of-the-art technology and innovation. He emphasized that the music competition is a manifestation of the dedication to harness the musical potential of the youth.
Tahir Hassan said that music has the ability to create connections and bridge gaps that transcend various communities.
