PESHAWAR: The party leadership has suggested names of candidates to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for inclusion in the provincial cabinet, however the latter has decided to finalize the names following consultation with the party’s central leadership, sources said on Tuesday.
Party sources said there was a suggestion of including four members from Peshawar in the cabinet including Taimur Jhagra, Meena Khan Afridi, Qasim Ali Shah and Fazal Elahi. Meena Khan was considered for Higher Education, Qasim Ali Shah for Health Department and Fazal Elhi for Transport.

Some reports suggest that Khaliqur Rahman and Mian Umar from Nowshera are likely to join the provincial cabinet.
Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly speaker Mushtaq Ghani is a potential candidate for senior minister for local government department in the provincial cabinet.
The other candidates proposed for the provincial cabinet of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa included Zahir Shah Toru from Mardan, Akbar Ayub from Haripur, Shakeel Khan from Malakand, Riaz Khan from Buner, Shafiullah and Liaquat Ali from Dir, Adnan Qadri and Anwar Zaib from tribal districts.
