Nadeem Khan Nominated as Member ICAP, ASB

ISLAMABAD: Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO), PTCL & Ufone 4G, Nadeem Khan, has been nominated as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) on its inspiring Accounting Standards Board (ASB) for a period of four-year term.

The key purpose of ASB is to supervise the development, adoption and implementation of accounting standards in the country, as well as provide guidance and recommend the acquisition of new International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

He is one of the three prominent industry and business leaders nominated to serve on the board, which includes prominent professionals from the private and public sectors.

Nadeem Khan’s Experience at PTCL

Nadeem Khan is a widely recognised business leader with nearly 3 decades of professional experience in different sectors. He has been associated with the PTCL Group for the last 20 years, where he played a significant role in the company’s ascent to becoming the backbone of Pakistan’s telecommunications landscape. Meamwhile, he also served as a member of the BoD of U Microfinance Bank Limited.

The ICAP is a professional body that regulates the accountancy profession in the country. It is a statutory autonomous organisation established under the Chartered Accountants Ordinance 1961.
