ISLAMABAD: The National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) on Thursday arranged a seminar to discuss the role of religious seminaries in the pursuit of education and employment.
Speaking on the occasion, NACTA Chief Muhammad Tahar Rai said that religious seminaries are the most important segment that must be provided opportunities for proper research, education, and employment.
He said that only an educated and skilled workforce could eradicate destructive thinking.
The NACTA Chief said that the issues of terrorism and extremism could be addressed through quality education.
Seminar Highlights Madaris’s Role in Welfare of Society
Moreover, leaders of “Ittehad Organizations of Madaris” in Pakistan and other scholars also participated in the seminar.
They highlighted the role of religious seminaries in the welfare of society.
