LAHORE: Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf inaugurated Benazir Shaheed Hall and office of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Central Punjab Secretariat Incharge on Sunday morning here at Model Town.
PPP Central Punjab General Secretary Syed Hassan Murtaza accompanied him during the inauguration. Speaker Ashraf lauded PPP leader Hassan Murtaza for his dedication, services for the party, and work for the beautification of PPP Punjab Secretariat and said that his services would be always remembered. Several party workers were also present in the inauguration ceremony.
PPP’s efforts to find foothold in Punjab
The PPP has been making efforts to find a foothold in the Punjab province ahead of the general electios in the country. The leadership is busy in re-organization of the party at the grassroot level in the province. — APP
