ISLAMABAD: An Indian defence analyst, Pravin Sawhney has said that the recent conflict between Pakistan and India has “shattered the myth” of the Indian military being superior to Pakistan’s military.
In a post on X, he said the operation hyphenated the military power of India and Pakistan. It shattered the myth of the Indian military being superior to Pakistan’s military.
International media also reported that Pakistan’s armed forces have proven their superiority over India at the global stage.
Pakistan downs Rafale
According to the international journal, The National Interest shooting down five Indian fighter jets is a tremendous achievement for Pakistan. The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) inflicted heavy losses on the Indian Air Force using J-10C fighter jets and PL-15 missiles.

The National Interest further reported that the destruction of advanced Indian jets like Rafale is an irreparable blow to India.
Pakistan’s response to the naked Indian aggression was a textbook demonstration of integrated tri-services jointness, enabled by real-time situational awareness, network-centric warfare capabilities, and seamless multi-domain operations.
“This synergy across air, land, sea, and cyber domains allowed for precision engagement, overwhelming lethality, and lightning operational tempo. All platforms operated in synergy, delivering coordinated effects at carefully selected decisive points,” according to a press statement issued by Pakistan military’s media wing, the ISPR.
The ISPR declared that, “Alhamdulillah! Pakistan Armed Forces have delivered the promise made to our people. Armed Forces thank Almighty Allah for His infinite blessings, mercy, help, and divine support. Allah has ordained the believers to retaliate whenever they are wronged. We bow our heads to Him in utmost humility for enabling us to translate our resolve into decisive actions on the battlefield.”

The conduct of Pakistan Armed Forces Operation—codenamed Bunyanum Marsoos on May 10, 2025, as part of the military conflict Marka-e-Haq (the battle for truth)—was in response to the Indian military’s dastardly attacks that began on the night of May 6 and 7.
Precision artillery was used to strike 26 critical Indian military targets while key Indian bases like Adampur, Bhuj, Pathankot, and BrahMos depots destroyed. Indian S-400 air defence systems and proxy terror training units neutralized during Operation Bunyanum Marsoos.
