MAKKAH: The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the Israeli announcement of confiscating 8,000 dunams (800 hectares) of land in the Jordan Valley of the occupied Palestinian territories, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
The league termed the Israeli move as a flagrant violation of all international laws and relevant resolutions.
Secretary General MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa in a statement denounced the ongoing violations by the Israeli occupation of the rights of the Palestinian people.
He said that the Israeli approach is an open challenge to the global community and an obstacle to the prospects of reaching comprehensive peace in the region.
