ISLAMABAD: Enjoy a perfectly simple, tempting, and lighter-tasting Mutton Rosh recipe. This special Pakistani Eid ul-Azha dish is easy to prepare and requires minimal effort.
Ingredients:
4-5 Tbsp Cooking Oil
1 Tbsp Chopped Garlic
1 Kg Mutton
¼ tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Cumin
Salt to taste
1 tsp Crushed Black Chili
Water as required
3 Tomatoes, halved
3 Onions, halved
3-4 Green Chilies
Directions:
In a large cooking pot, heat the cooking oil and add the chopped garlic, cooking it briefly.
Add the mutton, turmeric, cumin, salt, black chili, and water, and cook for a minute. Cover the pot with foil and a lid, then cook on low flame for 2-3 hours. Add the tomatoes, onions, and green chilies, then cover and cook on a low-medium flame for 12-15 minutes. Garnish with fresh chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with naan or steamed rice.
