ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Special Assistant on Human Rights & Women Empowerment, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, has expressed grave concerns over the deteriorating political and human rights situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
During an interview with Pakistan state television, Mullick warned of the alarming demographic changes initiated by India in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, creating tensions that could escalate into a disastrous conflict. She highlighted India’s plan to register up to 2.5 million new voters from Indian nationals in the contested region.
Addressing the plight of prisoners in IIOJK jails, she lamented the lack of basic facilities such as medicines and legal representation, emphasizing their deprivation of essential needs. Mushaal Hussein Mullick urged international organizations and human rights platforms to expedite their efforts and advocate for the rights of innocent Kashmiri people.
Additionally, she shared her personal experience of facing significant harassment by an Indian national during a journey to Norway.
