ISLAMABAD: The roof of a mud house collapsed due to rain, killing one person and critically injuring three others, including women and children in Rawalpindi’s Garja Road’s Chak Jalal Deen on Friday.
According to Rescue 1122 sources, a person died on the spot owing to the sudden collapse of a one-story house’s roof. According to rescue sources, the roof fell while the occupants were sleeping and the entire family was trapped under the debris. The rescue personnel said the injured were admitted to a hospital for additional care. —APP
