‘Mr. Bean’ Actor Planning Comeback as Johnny English?

LONDON: Rowan Atkinson is planning his comeback as iconic secret agent Johnny English after 6 years, local media reported. The comedic actor last acted in the James Bond parody film Johnny English Strikes Again in 2018.

During a Reddit Ask Me Anything session, he shot down the speculations of another installation when he said: “I doubt it but thank you for implying you’d like to see another one.

However, some section of media claimed that filming is likely to begin this summer as a title for the film is yet to be confirmed. Reports said that production for the film is set to kick off in June in Malta and the United Kingdom.

Earlier, Rowan, Natalie Imbruglia, Ben Miller, and John Malkovich starred in the 2003 blockbuster success. Around eight years later, in 2011, Dominic West, Daniel Kaluuya and Rosamund Pike also made an appearance in Johnny English Reborn.
