ISLAMABAD: The National Highway and Motorway Police closed down the M-1 from Burhan to Swabi due to heavy fog.

The road from Bhera to Kot Momin was also closed for all kinds of traffic. Earlier, the police also shut the Islamabad-Peshawar route due to thick fog which was later cleared for the commuters.
The police have asked the commuters to avoid unnecessary travel during the foggy weather. They have also asked the drivers to use fog lights and maintain safe distance between the vehicles.
