ISLAMABAD: In the FIFA World Cup 2022’s Group F match between Morocco and Canada, the North African side defeated the Canadian 2-1 at Qatar’s Al Thumaima Stadium. With this win, Moroccan reached the second round as well as topped the group.
The Moroccan side set the pace of the game from the start. In the 4th minute of the first half Moroccan’s Hakim Ziyech netted the ball to register the first goals.

In the 23rd minute Youssef En-Nessyri doubled the lead to two goals. Later, in the 40th minute Moroccan’s Nayef Aguerd score an own goal to open Canada’s goal tally.
At the time of the final whistle’s blowing Morocco led Canada to register a famous win.
