ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts rain and snowfall, particularly over the hilly areas today (Saturday).
Residents of Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir are advised to ready for cold conditions as the PMD forecasts snowfall over the mountainous regions. Central and Upper Punjab province, Islamabad, and North Balochistan are also likely to experience rain and snowfall, accompanied by wind and thunderstorms.
More Rain Expected Across Pakistan
According to the PMD, there is chance of heavy rainfall in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir. In the southern areas of Pakistan, gusty winds and stormy conditions are expected.
Officials urge citizens to stay informed regarding weather updates and advisories, demonstrate caution while traveling, and take necessary precaution measures to alleviate any adverse impact of the impending weather conditions.
