ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister Mohsin Naqvi assumed office as the 49th Minister of Interior on Wednesday.
Upon his arrival, he was warmly welcomed by Interior Secretary Aftab Akbar Durrani and senior officials of the Ministry. Following a comprehensive introduction with the ministry’s senior officials, Minister Naqvi chaired a meeting and reiterated his commitment to ensuring peace and security throughout the country.
Subsequently, Minister Naqvi received a detailed briefing regarding the Ministry of Interior and its affiliated bodies, further acquainting himself with their operations and responsibilities.
