MOGADISHU: The Dialysis Center at Banadir Hospital in the capital of Somalia, Mogadishu has provided services to 350 patients in the month of September with the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
Out of the 350 patients, 166 received 1,055 dialysis sessions and 11 emergency sessions, while 177 patients were examined at the nephrology clinic in September 2024. Males constituted 62 percent of the patients and females represented 38 percent, including 2 percent displaced persons and 98 percent residents.
The Mogadishu Dialysis Center, is part of relief efforts provided by Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to enhance the capabilities of the health sector and end the suffering of the people of Somalia.
