ISLAMABAD: Senior Indian journalist Ajay Shukla has revealed that the Pahalgam attack was exploited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government for political purposes to advance a fabricated narrative against Pakistan and serve the vested interests of influential figures in the ruling establishment.
In an interview, Shukla revealed that the incident was part of a broader political conspiracy. He revealed that the Modi government’s sinister political agenda was behind the Pahalgam false-flag operation.
In April 2025, India made a failed and shameful attempt to bolster a fabricated narrative against Pakistan through the Pahalgam false-flag operation.
Exposing the Modi government’s conspiracy behind the Pahalgam false-flag operation, Indian journalist Ajay Shukla said that several Indian leaders have repeatedly highlighted the Indian government’s role behind such false-flag operations.
“The Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government orchestrated this charade to facilitate the construction of a hotel owned by Home Minister Amit Shah’s son and to seize land,” Ajay Shukla said.
“While visiting the area after the Pahalgam incident, people told me there was a hidden agenda at play because Amit Shah’s son wanted to build a hotel there,” Shukla said.
Furthermore, Shukla recalled that senior politician Satya Pal Malik had stated that Modi was responsible for the Pulwama attack and that it was part of his planning.
Similarly, Indian politician Shankersinh Vaghela had also termed the Gujarat massacre a conspiracy by the Modi government, Shukla noted.
Senior Indian journalist Shukla said that the people of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir have also dismissed the Pahalgam false-flag operation as a staged conspiracy and a charade.
The senior Indian journalist’s revelations come as critics within India had previously rejected the Modi government’s Pahalgam false-flag drama.
Indian security expert Dr. Ajay Sahni also described the Pahalgam false-flag operation as a premeditated plot.
Former Governor of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Satya Pal Malik, had stated: “Modi should apologise to the entire nation and immediately resign from his post as Prime Minister.”
Former Indian legislator Vijay Tiwari has also held the Indian government responsible for the attack in Pahalgam.
Indian singer Neha Singh Rathore strongly criticised the ruling BJP party. “Why do all terrorist attacks invariably occur under the BJP government?” she questioned. “Pakistan was blamed immediately after the Pahalgam attack without any evidence.”
The Indian public has already outright rejected the ruling BJP’s conspiratorial tactics aimed at diverting attention from internal issues.
