SRINAGAR, Occupied Kashmir: The Modi-led Indian government in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir continues its actions against government employees linked to the ongoing freedom movement.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the occupied territory’s administration, seen as aligned with Modi’s regime, has recently fired four employees: Dr. Nissar-ul-Hassan (President of Doctors Association Kashmir), Salam Rathar (laboratory bearer in Higher Education department), Abdul Majeed Butt (constable), and Farooq Ahmad Mir (teacher). These individuals have been accused of involvement in activities against India.
This dismissal process began in April 2021, following the establishment of a special task force by the administration to investigate government employees’ alleged participation in pro-freedom and anti-India activities. Additionally, a committee was formed to probe these accusations and recommend dismissal for those implicated. Consequently, hundreds of employees, either directly or through their relatives’ associations with the freedom struggle, have been removed by the occupation authorities.
