MUSCAT: A 4.1-magnitude quake struck Duqm city in the Gulf country of Oman on Sunday, according to local authorities.
The Earthquake Monitoring Center at Sultan Qaboos University said the quake took place at 7:55 am local time at a depth of 16.3 kilometers northwest of Duqm city
No casualties reported after quake
No casualties or damage to property were reported after the moderate earthquake.
Sunday’s moderate earthquake took place almost two weeks after two massive earthquakes struck Syria and Turkiye on February 6, killing more than 46,000 people in the two countries.
